Businesses sue to block Trump’s tariff reboot
Two small businesses sued the Trump administration over new tariffs targeting forced labor, arguing the use of Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 was unlawful. The lawsuit claims the administration failed to demonstrate how the tariffs address foreign forced labor policies and asserts the tariffs disproportionately harm U.S. businesses.
