Former officer jailed after allegedly doing more than 350 Flock searches of same license plate

A former Sarasota Police Department officer was arrested and fired after an investigation alleged misuse of law enforcement databases. Cory Waiters faces felony charges, including offenses against computer systems and official misconduct, related to 358 searches of a single license plate using the Flock system.
