Washington state fires destroy hundreds of structures and force Spokane-area residents to evacuate

Wildfires in eastern Washington state destroyed at least 600 structures and forced 60,000 residents to evacuate near Spokane. Fires remained 0% contained, with 14 missing persons reported, while similar blazes in Idaho, Oregon, and Utah threatened hundreds more homes and livestock.
