Sex offender charged in Hickory woman's murder

Robin Doyle, a 58-year-old woman from Hickory, was reported missing on July 28 and subsequently found dead in Catawba County. Registered sex offender Leroy Allen Loper has been charged with felony murder, first-degree kidnapping, and concealment of death in connection with her abduction and death.
