    Wanted terrorist killed in intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan: CTD

    The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed a wanted terrorist, Khalid alias Commander, during an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The terrorist, linked to TTP’s Zakir Kochi Karwan group, was involved in the targeted killing of a CTD constable in March 2025 and was armed with a pistol, grenade, and smartphone.

    5 suspected militants killed during intelligence-based operation in Attock: CTD

    The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed five suspected militants during an intelligence-based operation in Attock's Mankor area. A cache of weapons and explosives was recovered, and the militants were allegedly linked to planned terrorist attacks in Punjab. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the operation targeting Fitna al Khawarij, a term for Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan.
