Fitna al Khawarij

Security forces in Quetta, including the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and police, have killed 75 terrorists since July 5, with 39 eliminated during 'Operation Shaban.' A planned attack on a police station in Khuzdar was thwarted, and a parliamentary panel will assess the security situation in Balochistan. Police denied claims of resignations following an attack that killed 27 officers at Mangi dam.

Two police officers, including an additional station house officer, were killed and another injured when Fitna al Khawarij terrorists attacked a police patrol in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohmand district. The attackers fled after a gunfight, leaving behind weapons, while police launched a search operation to apprehend the remaining terrorists.

Pakistan's security forces killed 29 terrorists in ground operations and airstrikes along the Pak-Afghan border, targeting groups including Jamaatul Ahrar and Fitna al Khawarij. The operation followed recent attacks on security personnel, including a Karachi Rangers Sindh camp, and was part of a broader counter-terrorism campaign.

Pakistan's information ministry refuted the Afghan Taliban's claims of targeting ISKP camps in border areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, calling the assertions false. The ministry stated that terrorist camps, including those of Daesh, are operated from Afghan Taliban-controlled territories and shared evidence of a neutralized Taliban drone in Pakistani airspace. Pakistan has previously conducted strikes against border terrorist hideouts and urged the Taliban to dismantle sanctuaries on Afghan soil.

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed five suspected militants during an intelligence-based operation in Attock's Mankor area. A cache of weapons and explosives was recovered, and the militants were allegedly linked to planned terrorist attacks in Punjab. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the operation targeting Fitna al Khawarij, a term for Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan.

Security forces killed 27 terrorists in Miranshah, North Waziristan, during a 72-hour operation, according to ISPR. The operation targeted 'India-sponsored Fitna al Khawarij' (linked to TTP) and avenged the killing of tribal elder Shaheed Malik Saifullah Dawar. Sanitization efforts and counter-terrorism campaigns continue in the region.
