Bharathi

Five persons, including three women, drowned in the Godavari river while fishing in Polavaram district. The individuals identified are Lakshmi, Bharathi, Suseela, Balaraju, and Ramesh, who were using hand-held fishing nets at the time.

The DMK plans to approach the Supreme Court if the Governor does not act on complaints of horse trading by TVK. A petition was submitted to the Governor in Chennai by Mr. Bharathi, who mentioned an earlier representation had been submitted on July 4.
