Future of swimming pool in Cañon City headed to ballot this November
The future of an outdoor seasonal pool in Caon City will be determined by a ballot vote this November, after the Caon City Council and Parks and Recreation District agreed on the language. If approved, the 0.3% sales tax, which passed in 2024, is slated to cover construction and maintenance costs. This tax is expected to raise $2 million by year-end.
