Stray bullet kills mother eating ice cream with daughter in truck, police say

Karla Abarca was killed in Las Vegas after a stray bullet struck her head during an escalating shootout initiated by a driver allegedly high on “whippets.” The suspect, Francisco Chairez-Hernandez, confronted Brad Serrano-Gutierrez before firing.
