Tampa General Hospital set to launch new drone blood delivery system
Tampa General Hospital in Florida will launch a drone-based blood delivery system to provide trauma patients with blood before they reach the hospital. The initiative, a partnership with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and the University of South Florida, is expected to begin in October after approval from Tampa’s commission.
