Drone program expands to new Florida districts, aims to improve response times during school shootings

Campus Guardian Angel is expanding its school-safety drone program to multiple Florida counties, including Broward, for the upcoming fall. The drones, equipped with strobes, sirens, and pepper spray, are remotely operated from Austin, Texas, and aim to respond to school shootings faster than police. The Florida legislature has authorized expanding the pilot program to three additional school districts.
