Benson, James set to showdown in Michigan governor’s race
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D) and President Trump-endorsed Rep. John James (R-Mich.) are projected to face off in the Michigan governor’s race this fall, according to Decision Desk HQ. Benson defeated Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson for the Democratic nomination, while James defeated businessman Perry Johnson for the Republican nomination.
