LA County to Conduct Earthquake Preparedness Review

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors directed staff to conduct a preparedness review for a major earthquake and create a public outreach campaign. Supervisor Kathryn Barger approved the motion, citing studies showing increased strain on the San Andreas and San Jacinto fault systems.
