County to Review Continued Emergency Contracting for January 2025 Fire and Windstorm Recovery
Los Angeles County's Board of Supervisors will review on June 23 whether to continue emergency contracting authority for recovery efforts following the Eaton and Palisades fires, which occurred in January 2025. The board is evaluating actions taken under Board Order No. 13-C to determine if the disaster remains an emergency requiring non-competitive contract awards.
