Driver arrested in alleged hit-and-run that seriously injured 3 during Miami street takeover

A 20-year-old man was arrested in Miami for allegedly fleeing a crash during an illegal street takeover that seriously injured three pedestrians. Anthony Brandon Lamelas was identified through surveillance footage and other evidence as the driver of a Ford Expedition that struck multiple victims before fleeing the scene. He faces two counts of leaving the scene of a crash involving serious injury and was set a $50,000 bond.
