Investigation uncovers hidden dangers of portable bed rails

Consumer Reports found that many portable bed rails pose hidden dangers, linked to hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries. Testing revealed four out of ten adult models and one out of six children’s models failed safety standards. The Consumer Product Safety Commission noted most unsafe products are manufactured overseas, primarily in China, and recommended alternatives to bed rails for safety.
