Consumer Reports found portable bed rails linked to hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries, with unsafe models still available. Testing revealed four out of 10 adult models and one children's model failed safety standards. The Consumer Product Safety Commission noted many unsafe products are made overseas, primarily in China.
