TSA shares passengers’ personal information with immigration enforcement, documents show
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has been sharing passenger personal information with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since May 2025 under a formal data-sharing agreement, according to documents obtained by the watchdog group American Oversight. This contradicts prior TSA testimony to Congress that passenger data was not shared for immigration enforcement, raising concerns about privacy and civil liberties.
