Kentucky governor calls on McConnell to prove he is fit to serve or resign: 'Address the people'

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear is demanding Sen. Mitch McConnell to prove his fitness to serve after his hospital discharge or resign. McConnell remains in a rehab facility undergoing physical therapy but has not been medically cleared to return to the Senate. Beshear also urged Senate Majority Leader John Thune to investigate McConnell's condition if he cannot demonstrate capability.
