Special election to fill late Georgia congressman’s seat advances to an August runoff
A special election runoff for Georgia's 13th Congressional District will occur on August 25 between Everton Blair and Marcye Scott. Scott, daughter of the late Congressman David Scott, led with 46% of the vote in unofficial results, while Blair secured 37%. State Rep.
