Kai Sato, a 39-year-old California man, survived 32 days adrift in the Pacific Ocean after his mast broke during a solo sail. He repaired his boat with makeshift tools, collected condensation for water, and was eventually rescued by a Pasha Hawaii ship near Hawaii.
