Wildfires in Spain: Record temparatures accelerate spread of blazes

Another 25,000 people were evacuated from villages near Madrid threatened by wildfires, increasing the total to 70,000. The evacuations occurred in Valle del Tietar (Avila province) and two Madrid region villages, as reported by government delegate Francisco Martin.
