US hits partners with new tariffs over forcer labour claims

The United States will impose new tariffs on imports from 60 trading partners, covering 99 percent of goods entering the country, starting this Friday. The tariffs replace a temporary 10 percent global tariff after the Supreme Court invalidated President Donald Trump's previous tariff plan. The administration claims the measure targets goods produced with forced labour.
