An over-the-counter allergy medication, cetirizine hydrochloride, sold nationwide by Unique Pharmaceutical Laboratories is being recalled due to contamination with ranitidine (Zantac). The FDA confirmed the recall, which was triggered by a pharmacy technician noticing incorrect pill colors. The mix-up could cause life-threatening reactions in individuals hypersensitive to ranitidine.
