Neighbors rally around man after he was hit by truck in Pineville

Doug Allen, a Pineville resident known for carrying an American flag, was critically injured after being struck by a truck while in his wheelchair. Neighbors, including Marlow Metcalf of Pineville Neighbors Place, have organized community support through a GoFundMe and letter campaign to aid his recovery from severe injuries and ongoing medical challenges.
