Hong Kong vows to launch smart system, speed water mains replacement
Hong Kong authorities plan to introduce a smart management system and accelerate water mains replacement to reduce pipe bursts and leakages following a water outage in Shau Kei Wan. The Water Supplies Department stated improvement works are underway for 50km of water mains, with 40km of new works scheduled.
