Cuban artist and dissident Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara arrived in the U.S. after being released from a five-year prison sentence in Cuba on the condition he leave the country. He co-founded the San Isidro Movement, was arrested during a 2021 protest, and faced charges including public disorder and disrespect toward national symbols.
