United Airlines will offer an empty middle seat in Economy Plus on some new Airbus A321XLR aircraft, using the space for a shared table and extra elbow room. The airline plans to expand this feature and has introduced 'United Relax Rows' to convert seats into lounging areas. European carriers like Lufthansa and Finnair already provide similar perks.
