SC declines to interfere with HC relief to ex-DMK Minister E.V. Velu in Highways scam case
The Supreme Court declined to interfere with the High Court's relief granted to former DMK Minister E.V. Velu in a highways scam case. The FIR against Velu, government officials, and a contractor was registered by DVAC on June 24 based on a 2022 complaint by anti-corruption NGO Arappor Iyakkam.
