Here’s what’s next for the Prairieville Council on Aging facility
Construction on the $4 million Prairieville Council on Aging facility is set to begin this summer after resolving contract issues. The facility will expand senior and wellness services in Ascension Parish, replacing an asphalt parking lot with cement to comply with local restrictions and save costs. The new 14,000-square-foot center aims to alleviate overcrowding at the existing Gonzales senior center.
