Advocate Health Breaks Ground On Hospital At South Chicago Lakefront Megadevelopment Site

Advocate Health Care broke ground on a 40-bed hospital in South Chicago to replace Trinity Hospital, part of a lakefront megadevelopment set to open by 2029. The new facility includes expanded emergency services, imaging, and community spaces, with state approval for a $320 million plan and city approval for a five-story, 183,000-square-foot building.
