Nashville woman scammed out of more than $1.2K by fake sheriff’s deputy

A woman from Hermitage, Tennessee, was scammed out of over $1,200 by a scammer impersonating a Davidson County Sheriff’s Office deputy. The incident occurred in June, and the victim reported the fraudulent activity to authorities.
