Can’t English be considered an indigenous Indian language, asks SC

The Supreme Court questioned whether English can be considered an indigenous Indian language, challenging the use of the term 'native' in a CBSE circular. It noted that the push for a three-language scheme aligns with the Constitutional goal of using Indian languages for official purposes.
