Kyiv monastery damaged in Russian air attack as strikes intensify across Ukraine
Twenty people were injured and Kyiv’s historic Pechersk Lavra monastery was set on fire during a Russian air attack on the Ukrainian capital. Drone and missile strikes caused widespread damage, power outages for hundreds of thousands, and prompted renewed air defenses.
