Polish-Run Monastery Damaged in Russia’s ‘Most Horrific Attack’ on Kyiv
Russia's overnight bombardment of Kyiv damaged a Dominican monastery operated by Polish monks and other sites, marking one of the war's heaviest attacks. Despite extensive destruction, no monks were injured, and religious services continued. The assault drew international condemnation, and Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk reported a missile strike near her parents' home before a French Open match.
