Braves RHP Spencer Strider placed on 15-day injured list with elbow inflammation
Atlanta Braves right-hander Spencer Strider was placed on the 15-day injured list with right elbow inflammation after exiting a game against the New York Mets due to shoulder and elbow soreness. Manager Walt Weiss confirmed Strider's discomfort and reduced velocity, with right-hander JR Ritchie replacing him in the rotation and Anthony Molina recalled to the roster. Strider, recovering from a left oblique strain earlier this season, has a 5.31 ERA in 2024 and a 4.66 ERA since returning from elbow surgery last year.
