White Sox reliever Jordan Leasure will be shut down for at least eight weeks

White Sox reliever Jordan Leasure was placed on the 15-day injured list with a flexor strain in his right forearm and will be shut down for eight to 10 weeks. Tyler Gilbert was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte to replace him. Leasure, 27, has a 6.27 ERA in 18 appearances this season and reported ongoing inflammation in his flexor.
