STAT+: The woman behind the world’s biggest longevity competition
Jamie Justice, an anti-aging researcher, co-founded the $101 million XPRIZE Healthspan competition with Peter Diamandis to identify therapies restoring muscle, cognition, and immune function in older adults. The initiative selects 10 teams from 40 to conduct yearlong clinical trials, with results expected by 2030.
