U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds won the Republican nomination for Florida governor after strong fundraising and endorsements, including from President Trump and the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Meanwhile, media executive Jim Schwartzel won the GOP primary to succeed Donalds in his House seat, defeating Trump-endorsed candidate Catalina Lauf.
