Russian tanker oil spill off Oman coast

The grounded Russian tanker Caroline Bezengi has leaked crude oil off Oman's coast, with a British maritime firm hired to contain the spill that has spread across hundreds of square kilometers and threatens marine wildlife and protected areas. The vessel, part of Russia's shadow fleet, experienced an explosion that led to its grounding near Qabiliyah Island.
