    An Ohio police officer was found guilty of dereliction of duty after allowing a handcuffed 15-year-old boy in her custody to be whipped with a belt by an adult. The officer, Jamie Patterson, testified she acted in good faith but admitted to recommending corporal punishment multiple times.
