A Russian drone struck a passenger train in the Zaporizhzhia region, injuring one conductor. Ukrainian Railways reported an early evacuation order prevented mass casualties, and passengers were transferred to Zaporizhzhia via buses coordinated by the regional military administration.

Ukrainian forces struck the Syzran oil refinery in Russia's Samara region, causing explosions and fires, and targeted 10 tankers and four ferries in the Sea of Azov linked to Russian military logistics. Additional strikes were confirmed on a fuel train near Tokmak and the NOVATEK-Ust-Luga complex in the Leningrad region.

The meeting follows a Ukrainian drone attack in Saint Petersburg, Russia, which injured three people, and a Russian attack in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region that killed three. The war, ongoing since Russia’s 2022 invasion, shows no sign of resolution.
