Chinese environmental activist Yin Yuzhen, who has spent decades planting trees in Inner Mongolia's deserts, has invited an American donor who contributed US$5,000 to her reforestation efforts decades ago to visit the forest that resulted from his funding. Yin was recognized as a National Model Worker by China's State Council in 2000 for her anti-desertification work.
