American donated US$5,000 to China farmer for tree planting decades ago invited to view forest

Chinese environmental activist Yin Yuzhen, who has spent decades planting trees in Inner Mongolia's deserts, has invited an American donor who contributed US$5,000 to her reforestation efforts decades ago to visit the forest that resulted from his funding. Yin was recognized as a National Model Worker by China's State Council in 2000 for her anti-desertification work.
