Harrell was detained under the Baker Act for mental health assessment due to statements made in custody.

Deanna Harrell, 35, allegedly drove into a toll booth in Daytona Beach Shores, killing Tammie Jo Baker, 62, and later drove into the ocean. Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitman confirmed the incident.
