    Some ships refusing US-military guided Hormuz transits after attacks, sources say

    Oman opens temporary Strait of Hormuz shipping routes with no tolls

    Oman has opened temporary shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz without imposing tolls, in coordination with the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), to facilitate safe vessel passage after Iran effectively closed the strait. The existing Traffic Separation Scheme is deemed unsafe, and ships are directed to use north and south temporary routes under a phased IMO plan.
