Some ships refusing US-military guided Hormuz transits after attacks, sources say
Shipping companies are avoiding U.S. military-guided transits through the Strait of Hormuz following Iranian attacks on vessels, according to seven maritime security and shipping industry sources. The transit scheme, which uses a UN-established Traffic Separation Scheme since 1968, is no longer being used due to safety concerns.
