    Surprise Solano County vote kills California Forever’s shipyard bill for this year

    Solano County Supervisors rejected a California Forever plan backed by Gov. Gavin Newsom intended to construct a shipbuilding facility. The surprise 3-2 vote effectively killed the proposed “Solano Maritime and Manufacturing Act” for this year.
