Pakistani authorities petitioned the Supreme Court to review an order requiring Imran Khan to receive a medical exam at a private hospital of his choice. The government argued that allowing such treatment could disrupt the criminal justice system and create precedents for other inmates seeking similar relief outside prison rules. Attaullah Tarar stated that while there is no objection to providing medical care, the challenge concerns the specific requirement for him to use a private facility.
