- Hiker who set out in warm spring weather found dead after snowstorm in New Hampshire mountains
A 61-year-old Massachusetts hiker, Kent Wood, was found dead in New Hampshire’s White Mountains after a snowstorm left him unprepared for severe weather. He was discovered on the Kinsman Pond Trail in Franconia Notch, approximately 5.5 miles from his vehicle, following a two-day search involving multiple agencies.
